The Non-Discrimination Ombudsman’s customer service is now available via chat!

We are testing a chat function on our website syrjinta.fi through which our customer service personell can give advice. You can ask for advice through the chat if you have encountered or witnessed discrimination.

The chat is open on Mondays and Wednesdays at 1pm to 3pm.

We appreciate feedback on how the chat works especially in regards to accessibility. Feedback can be sent to yvv.viestinta@oikeus.fi or be given directly in the chat to the customer service person. The chat is still being tested out, and we will evaluate whether we will use it on a more permanent basis.

Our helpline works normally (0295 666 817, weekdays 10-12 o’clock) and as usual we can also be reached through e-mail (yvv@oikeus.fi). The complaint form on our website is also in use as normal. We do not accept complaints via the chat; all complaints will be directed to our helpline, to be sent e-mail or the complaint form on our website. Read more about our customer service.
